The Molinete Archaeological Park, one of the largest in Europe in urban areas, is the result of the urban reform carried out in 2008, thus recovering the old neighborhood of the same name, which had been degrading over the centuries to the landscaped public space of the city.
In the park all the archaeological remains found have been integrated: from Punic and Roman times, through the walls of the 16th century, to the modern era neighborhood and the entrances of the Civil War shelters, with the incentive of the magnificent Panoramic views of the city that can be enjoyed from the top of the hill.
