The long-distance trail GR 92 runs along the Mediterranean coast from Port-Bou (Gerona) to Cádiz, where it connects with the GR-7. As it passes through the coastal mountains of the Calblanque Regional Park, it travels about 20 km along roads and paths over cliffs, forests and scrub areas. Although it can be done in one day, it is usual to do it in several stages, of which this section between Cala Reona and the Punta Negra viewpoint would be the second. It also highlights its geological diversity and its historical heritage, since it treasures elements such as the military battery of the Ashes or the Roman Road.
