The Councillor for Tourism, José Antonio Zafra, has announced today a new edition of the Mercadillo Muralla Fest Market. This event, scheduled for Saturday, 11th of May, will transform the emblematic Plaza del Castillo in an enclave of creativity and diversity, from 10am to 7pm.

Accompanied by Ana Isabel Susarte, a member of the organising association, Zafra stressed the importance of this event for the city, underlining its potential to promote culture and tourism.

The Mercadillo will feature more than 70 stalls displaying a unique mix of artisan, alternative and traditional products. Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in different workshops, enjoy DJs and a concert by local band Varsovia.  There will also be a charity lottery in aid of AFACMUR, among other things.

This artisan event, the mayor emphasised, also represents a space for the whole family to meet and share. With proposals ranging from crafts to music and much more. We are sure that there will be something for all tastes and ages.

So, we invite you from the Town Hall to join us in this great event that will undoubtedly enrich our beloved Old Town and make it once again a point of reference for local and foreign tourism.
