30/11/10Irene Lucas and Christoph Euler give workshops in various schools in the Region
The workshops Irene Lucas & Christoph Euler are giving on their participation in the Manifesta 8, are only one part of the Corridor Project Breaks , a project that is concerned with the involvement of art practices in public education, following up the methods of the MOCHA, Museum of Contemporary Hispanic Art in New York, where workshops with Latino communities in New York were initiated and held in public schools.
The workshops are being held in the schools C.E.I.P. Infanta Leonor de Mazarrón, C.E.I.P. Hernández Ardieta en Roladán, pedanía de Torrepacheco, C.E.I.P. Arboleja in la Arboleja, el Ateneo Huertano in la Arboleja in Murcia, with the collaboration of the Ateneo Biosegura y Alsol, tecnologías solares .
The outcome of these workshops are going to be presented at exhibition space that will host AV from 16 December on.
