"14,4 Km/ The Race"

The public event 14,4 km of Juan Zamora, a project of the Manifesta 8 Paralelos, was a successful turnout. In total, 1200 people took part in it. The 14.4 km resemble the distance that separates us from the African continent: it is exactly 14.4 km between Punta Olivera (Spain) and Punta Cires (Morocco), better known as the Straits of Gibraltar.

The winner was the young Moroccan-born Driss Fennasi, Elio Croce Club Lorca, with a time of 49.54 minutes.
