Loulou Cherinet works primarily with video and photography, creating portraits in series, dominated by narrative storytelling and highly emotional performance. Her work is rich with references to cinema and documentary film-making, often focusing on the themes of identity and the relationship between the public and the private. She often pinpoints emotional experiences resulting from precise language. At the heart of Cherinet's work is her ambivalence towards elementary observation.
