This 12 m2 and 330 pieces mural is located in the covered municipal swimming pool of Torre Pacheco.
The work of Manolo Belzunce cannot be summed up or expressed with a concrete technique or style. Due to the diversity and depth of the techniques, the tools and the themes he uses, each pictorial series is a step with a beginning and an end. The mural at the swimming pool represents a dreamlike and poetic image of several characters who are refugees from the sun in the shade of pleasant palm trees. The artist, through white tiles, very Mediterranean, and with scratched red enamel, represents with these ochre colours prehistoric and Roman art.
