The Active Tourism and Nature Department was created within Región de Murcia Turística S.A. with the objective of diversifying Region of Murcia's tourist offer. The most of the region's natural heritage, among other riches, has been made with this aim.
The main objectives pursued by the department are the following:
- To dynamize affected subsectors: active tourism, rural tourism, nature, etc.
- To coordinate all promotion and marketing actions related to these products.
